" 囧 "

Do you know this chinese character??

If you do, good for u. :( Cause I DIDN'T!

Apparently it's pronounced as "jiong"

which actually means brightness or whatever it really means.

(Yea, yea. I know my explanation sucks but WHATEVER~)

囧 has however became a symbol used casually in cyberspace to represent the facial expression that looks just like the word itself.

The using of the word 囧 for the way it looks like instead of for its meaning is exactly the same as the use of "Orz".

For those who couldn't figure out, Orz is basically a person banging his head on the ground.

(After finding this out, you can now show me the 囧 expression!)

To tell you the truth, I think 囧 is very much like -_- The only difference is that 囧 has an open mouth.

(Another 囧 moment)

I've also found a whole list of such expressions on the net with their respective meaning.

圙rz - an old 囧rz (because of the wrinkled face)
囼rz - Eyeless 囧rz
囜rz - eyeless and mouthless 囧rz
圀rz - 囧rz with a crooked mouth
囶rz - A speechless 囧rz

or7 - Sharp ass.

Oroz- Orz with a tummy.
